2021 Road Trip – Lazy Day Campground, Danville, MO

We departed this morning at 9AM CDT and had completed setting up at Lazy Day Campground in Danville, MO by 3PM CDT. We had one major slowdown due to an accident (that we never saw) on I-24 in Illinois. This is a beautiful, well maintained campground on a Missouri hillside. The WiFi is good with 5-7 Mbps download speeds. The sites are level (once you get in them). The sites would be a little tight if the campground was full because they park RV’s side-by-side (in opposite directions) and place the utilities in between. However, on a Sunday night there is only one other camper in the section we are in. This allowed Beth to set up her cat fence and let the cats roam in the Midwestern grass. They loved it and stayed outside a long time. We took about a 1 mile walk (round trip) on a hiking trail down to a lake (and when I say down, I mean DOWN). I had to huff and puff coming back up the hill, but it was good exercise.
